China based Eddingpharm and Italy based respiratory disease focussed Chiesi Farmaceutici have formed a a Joint Venture for marketing Asthma drugs in China

China based Eddingpharm and Italy based Chiesi farmaceutici has formed a JV to distribute Asthma drugs in China. Chiesi has five respiratory drugs in its portfolio, of which three are intended for the treatment of Asthma ( formoterol fumarate, beclomethasone dipropionate, beclomethasone dipropionate (corticosteroid) and formoterol fumarate). These drugs are sold under the brand name Atimos, Clenil and Foster in Europe.
The JV is owned 51% by Eddingpharm and 49% by Chiesi Farmaceutici.
